LCG, March 25, 2021--The Public Utilities Commission of Nevada (PUCN) on Monday approved proceeding with NV Energy's Greenlink Nevada transmission and renewable energy initiative. NV Energy's planned investment in Greenlink is over $2.5 billion.

Leah Bissonette has been named vice president for U.S. regional sales by Sempra Energy Solutions, a subsidiary of Sempra Energy Corp. Most recently, she was a senior account director with Williams Energy Marketing and Trading Company.

Lewis B. Campbell has been elected a director of Allegheny Energy Inc. He is chairman and chief executive of Textron Inc.

Kim Cocklin, vice president for customer service and rates for Williams Gas Pipeline-SouthCentral has been promoted to senior vice president and general manager of The Williams Cos.' business unit (Texas Gas and Central pipeline systems). He succeeds David L. Young who is relocating to Houston to accept a position with Williams Communications.

Michael R. Niggli has been named president of Sempra Energy Resources, a subsidiary of Sempra Energy Inc. that develops and operates energy projects for the competitive market. He is the former chairman and chief executive officer of Sierra Pacific Resources Inc.

Michael Rumman has resigned as president of Peoples Energy Services Corp. the retail energy services subsidiary of Peoples Energy Corp., effective today. No replacement has been named.

Peco, Unicom Announce Three Senior Post-Merger Appointments

Peco Energy Co. and Unicom Corp. this week announced the appointment of one Peco and two Unicom executives to key management positions of Exelon Corp., the company that will be formed by the merger of the two utility holding companies. The changes become effective upon completion of the merger.

  • Michael J. Egan, currently senior vice president and chief financial officer of Peco, will become an executive vice president of Exelon Corp. and president and chief executive of Exelon Enterprises.

  • Ruth Ann M. Gillis, currently senior vice president and chief financial officer of Unicom, will become senior vice president and chief financial officer of Exelon Corp.

  • Pamela B. Strobel, currently an executive vice president of Unicom, will become executive vice president of Exelon Corp. and president of Exelon Energy Delivery, the holding company's distribution business, which includes Peco Energy in Philadelphia and Commonwealth Edison Co. in Chicago. She will also become vice chairwoman of ComEd's board.
