            <description>LCG, July 24, 2008--SUEZ LNG NA LLC (SUEZ) announced yesterday that construction has started on its Neptune LNG project, which will be located approximately ten miles south of the city of Gloucester and 22 miles northeast of Boston.   Neptune has a nominal capacity of 400 MMcf/day and is scheduled to be prepared to receive liquefied natural gas (LNG) by late 2009.

            <title>Texas Poised to Invest $4.93 Billion in Transmission System Expansion for Wind Power</title>
            <description>LCG, July 18, 2008--The Public Utility Commission (PUC) of Texas yesterday chose an electric transmission system expansion scenario that will enable the development of 18,456 MW of wind farms located in remote areas in West Texas and the Texas Panhandle.  The PUC was directed by Senate Bill 20 to create a transmission plan that will increase transmission capacity to allow new wind power from remote areas to flow to load centers in Texas.

            <description>LCG, July 16, 2008--The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) yesterday approved a proposal by Progress Energy Florida (Progress) for a determination of need to build two, 1,100-MW nuclear reactors at a greenfield site in Levy County, Florida.  The first reactor is scheduled to be operational in 2016, and the second reactor in the following year.  Progress submitted the petition to the PSC in March.

            <description>LCG, June 26, 2008--The Virginia Air Pollution Control Board yesterday unanimously approved permits for the Virginia City Hybrid Energy Center, a $1.8 billion project of Dominion Virginia Power, a subsidiary of Dominion.  The proposed 585-MW power plant will be located in southwest Virginia and use a circulating fluidized bed (CFB) technology to burn coal and up to 20 percent biomass.
