LCG, May 19, 2026--Avangrid, Inc., a member of the Iberdrola Group, today announced the signing of a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Puget Sound Energy (PSE) for the 199.5-MW Big Horn I wind project in Klickitat County, Washington. This agreement represents the fourth PPA executed by the two companies for projects in the Pacific Northwest.

LCG, May 18, 2026--The U.S. Secretary of Energy today issued an emergency order to address critical grid reliability issues in the Midwest anticipated this summer. The order is in effect beginning on May 19, 2026, through August 16, 2026. The emergency order directs the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), in coordination with Consumers Energy, to ensure that the J.H. Campbell coal-fired power plant (Campbell Plant) in West Olive, Michigan shall take all steps necessary to remain available to operate and to minimize costs for the region.

OG&E and Google Announce Contract for Three Data Centers in Oklahoma
LCG, April 30, 2026--OG&E, the operating subsidiary of OGE Energy Corp., announced today that it will power three new data centers that Google announced in Muskogee and Stillwater, Oklahoma last year. As part of the agreement, Google will also make power generation capacity available from two solar facilities in Stephens and Muskogee Counties that are currently under construction. The data centers and associated Electric Service Agreements are expected to provide economic growth for local communities and the state, contribute to grid stability, and benefit OG&E's current customers.
Google and OG&E worked together to develop long-term customer protections. Under this agreement, Google is committing to pay (i) 100 percent of the costs to connect the data center sites to the grid, (ii) all contracted costs regardless of the company's energy use, and (iii) its share of power generation required to serve these data centers.
OG&E states that it is committed to maintain the competitive advantage that low rates bring to attract investment and drive economic growth in Oklahoma and Arkansas.
The Chairman, President and CEO of OGE Energy Corp. said, "OG&E is pleased to support Google and together advance growth in our home state, ensuring our current customers benefit from data center expansion that meets the technology needs of the 21st century economy at some of the lowest rates in the country. The Electric Service Agreements and Capacity Purchase Agreements are expected to be filed for review with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) shortly. The OCC must formally approve the agreement between OG&E and Google to supply power to the data center sites.
