Invenergy Announces New Agreements with Meta for Renewable Energy to Support Data Center Operations

LCG, June 26, 2025--Invenergy today announced that they and Meta Platforms, Inc. have signed four new clean energy agreements that total an additional 791 MW of procured solar and wind capacity to support Meta's near-term operations, data center growth, and clean energy goals.

The new agreements follow the 2024 announcement of Meta's 1,000 MW of total procured energy from Invenergy. The new agreements are for four Invenergy-developed projects located across the U.S., including:

300-MW Yellow Wood Solar Energy Center in Ohio; commercial operations expected 2027
140-MW Pleasant Prairie Solar Energy Center in Ohio; commercial operations expected 2027
155-MW Decoy Solar Energy Center in Arkansas; commercial operations expected 2027
196-MW Seaway Wind Energy Center in Texas; commercial operations expected 2028

"Winning the AI race requires reliable, cleaner, affordable energy and energy infrastructure - today and in the future. We're grateful for our continued relationship with Meta and look forward to future partnerships as we work to strengthen American energy independence and economic prosperity," said Invenergy's Executive Vice President of Origination.

Meta's Head of Global Energy stated, "We're laser-focused on advancing our AI ambitions—and to do that, we need clean, reliable energy. We're grateful for Invenergy's longtime partnership that helps us support our energy needs and implement our clean energy goals, and look forward to continued collaboration."
