OG&E and Google Announce Contract for Three Data Centers in Oklahoma

LCG, April 30, 2026--OG&E, the operating subsidiary of OGE Energy Corp., announced today that it will power three new data centers that Google announced in Muskogee and Stillwater, Oklahoma last year. As part of the agreement, Google will also make power generation capacity available from two solar facilities in Stephens and Muskogee Counties that are currently under construction. The data centers and associated Electric Service Agreements are expected to provide economic growth for local communities and the state, contribute to grid stability, and benefit OG&E's current customers.

Graphic Packaging and NextEra Energy Resources Sign 250-MW Virtual Power Purchase Agreement

LCG, April 29, 2026--Graphic Packaging Holding Company today announced a virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) with NextEra Energy Resources, LLC. With the VPPA agreement, NextEra Energy Resources plans to build the Selenite Springs Energy Center, a 250-MW solar energy facility in West Texas, and Graphic Packaging will be the sole buyer of the facility's renewable energy attribute certificates. Graphic Packaging, a global provider of sustainable consumer packaging, expects the agreement to cover approximately 43 percent of its 2025 electricity usage in the U.S. and Canada. The agreement will advance Graphic Packaging's commitment to source renewable electricity and reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Anne F. Appleby has joined Oglethorpe Power Corp. as vice president for finance. Most recently, she was senior vice president for credit products with Bank of America, leading a team of debt specialists in Georgia and Tennessee.

Stephen L. Baum, vice chairman, president and chief executive of Sempra Energy Inc., has been appointed chairman, succeeding Richard D. Farman, who has retired from the company.

Kevin Fox has been named senior vice president and general manager of the commodity services group of Aquila Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of UtiliCorp United Inc. He most recently was vice president and portfolio manager, responsible for all aspects of electricity trading.

David Kyle, president of Oneok Inc., has been elected chairman and chief executive officer, succeeding Larry Brummett, who died last week of cancer. Kyle began his career with Oklahoma Natural Gas Co. in 1974.

Greg A. Lohnes has joined Great Lakes Gas Transmission Co. as president and chief executive. He moves to Great Lakes from TransCanada PipeLines Ltd., where he most recently was vice president for global strategy and business development in the company's international business unit.

Rebecca P. Mark has resigned as a director of Enron Corp.. She has also resigned as chairman and chief executive of Azurix Corp., a water resources company spun off from Enron.

Deaths

Larry W. Brummett, chairman and chief executive of Oneok Inc., and a long-time community leader in Tulsa, has died following a two-year battle with cancer. He was 49. Brummett became chairman, chief executive and president of Oneok in 1994. He joined Oklahoma Natural Gas in 1974.
