LCG, March 6, 2026--Entergy yesterday announced approximately $5 billion in total savings for 2.3 million customers in Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi resulting from data center customer agreements in those states. Entergy, which completed its first data center customer agreement in 2024, projects the customer savings over the next 20 years and after the regulatory approval or acknowledgement of the public service commissions in those states.

LCG, March 5, 2026--The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) announced yesterday that it has authorized the staff to issue TerraPower’s subsidiary, US SFR Owner, a construction permit for the company’s Kemmerer Power Station Unit 1 commercial nuclear power plant in Kemmerer, Wyoming.

PG&E to Buy Mississippi Merchant Plant
LCG, Sept. 8, 2000--PG&E Corp. said yesterday its National Energy Group would acquire the 500 megawatt Attala merchant power plant project from Duke Energy North America for an undisclosed price.Construction of the natural gas-fired, combined-cycle plant began in March and commercial operation is scheduled for next summer. Output will be sold into the Entergy wholesale market, according to PG&E.Chris Iribe, chief operating officer of the National Energy Group's eastern region, said the purchase "strengthens our growing supply position in the Southern United States."
