LCG, July 29, 2025--The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) today reported third quarter fiscal year 2025 financial results, including $9.8 billion in total operating revenues on 121 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity sales for the nine months ending June 30, 2025. TVA reported total operating revenues had increased 11 percent over the same period last year, primarily due to higher rates and sales. TVA presented that sales of electricity increased 3 percent compared to the same period last year, primarily due to higher sales to residential and small customers, as well as increases within the data processing, hosting, and related services sector.

LCG, July 24, 2025--The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today announced the next steps in the Trump administration’s plan to accelerate the development of AI infrastructure by using Federal lands to lower energy costs and help power the global AI race, as previously outlined in President Trump’s Executive Orders on Accelerating Federal Permitting of Data Center Infrastructure, Deploying Advanced Nuclear Reactor Technologies for National Security, and Unleashing American Energy.

Duss has been elected president and chief executive of IdaTech, the fuel cell subsidiary of Idacorp Inc., the holding company parent of Idaho Power Co. He succeeds Alan Guggenheim, one of the IdaTech's three founders. Duss most recently was a vice president of Honeywell Europe.Leslie H. He joins FPL from AES Great Plains Inc., where he was a vice president.Glen W. Overton has joined Kansas City Power & Light Co. as director of governmental affairs and community relations. He has served since 1993 as the regional administrator of the U.S. General Services Administration's Heartland Region.Julio Reyes has been named Texas state president of American Electric Power Co. Inc., filling a vacancy created when Alphonso Jackson became Deputy Secretary of Housing andUrban Development in the Bush administration. Reyes previously was community service manager and coordinator in McAllen for the Rio Grande Valley at AEP's Central Power & Light Co. subsidiary.
