LCG, September 4, 2025--Puget Sound Energy (PSE) announced yesterday that phased construction has commenced on its 142-MW Appaloosa Solar Project, a utility-scale solar facility underway in southeastern Washington. The project is being built by Qcells EPC, who will serve as the module manufacturer and the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solution provider. Construction is scheduled through 2026, and commercial operation is expected at the end of next year.

Under the agreement, ENTRA1 Energy will collaborate with TVA to deploy six ENTRA1 Energy Plants™, each powered by multiple NuScale Power Modules™, to provide up to 6 GW of firm, 24/7 baseload power.

'Analysts' Take Heat for Enron Buy Recommendations
LCG, Dec. 7, 2001--The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, which is already investigating the financial reporting of Enron Corp., now wants to take a look at securities analysts who kept recommending Enron's stock as a "buy" even as the company nosedived into bankruptcy.Laura Unger, an SEC commissioner, said yesterday in an interview on CNBC television "What concerns me more is hearing that analysts still continued the strong buy recommendation as recently as in the last couple of weeks when it was at 90 cents."Unger also took aim at Enron's auditors, the accounting firm of Arthur Andersen. "The accounting firm that had been the auditor for Enron for 10 years didn't seem to understand and of course that's an open issue," she said.
