Kenneth M. Jasinski has been elected executive vice president and chief financial officer of Energy East Corporation, the super-regional energy services and delivery company. Jasinski joined Energy East in April 1998, upon its formation as a holding company, and was most recently vice president, general counsel and secretary.Avista Corp.'s board of directors has elected Scott L. Morris as senior vice president. Morris is also president and general manager of Avista Utilities, the regulated electric and natural gas operating division. Morris had earlier served as general manager of Avista's Oregon and California utility operations before being named a corporate vice president in November 2000.
Karen Feltes has been elected by Avista Corp.'s board as a corporate officer-vice president of human resources and corporate services. Feltes, with 20 years' experience in human resources management and planning, was most recently senior director of corporate human resources and general services.
J. Gregory Driscoll has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Enerwise Global Technologies, which is engaged in enterprise energy management, and analyzes and improves efficiency through application of services for commercial and industrial enterprises. Driscoll come to Enerwise from Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc., in Philadelphia, where he was managing director of investment banking.
Steven M. Fetter has been appointed to the CH Energy Group board of directors. Fetter, managing director of the Global Power Group within the FitchRatings international rating agency, is also former chairman of the Michigan Public Service Commission.
Touchstone Resources has announced the election of Stirling D. Pack, Jr. to the position of vice president and chief financial officer. Mr. Pack will be the company's primary contact with the invetment community. Most recently, Pack retired from The Coastal Corporation, where he served as vice president.
Global Solar has appointed John R. "Dick" Damron vice president of business development. Damron was most reently vice president for business development for Litton Advanced Systems Division.
