John Bryson, chairman and chief executive of Edison International Inc. has been elected a director of The Walt Disney Co. He is also a director of The Boeing Company, W.M. Keck Foundation, the Council on Foreign Relations, and is a trustee of Stanford University.

Thomas R. Casten, founder of Trigen Energy Corp., has been named chairman and chief executive of Americas Power Partners Inc.

Mike Hutchins has been named to the newly created position of vice president forbusiness process innovation by Atlanta Gas Light Co.. Most recently engineering vice president, the 27-year veteran of the company will be responsible for such activities as automated dispatch, automated meter reading and developing a customer relationship management system.

Robert T. Ladd, a partner with Arthur Andersen LLP, has been named president and chief executive officer of Duke Capital Partners LLC, a financial markets company founded by Duke Energy Corp. in March to provide asset management, investment banking and funding services to wholesale and commercial markets.

Charles M. Lillis has been elected a director of The Williams Cos. He is a co-founder and principal of Lone Tree Partners, a Denver-based private equity investing group specializing in the communications and information industries.

John Mathis has joined Edison Mission Energy Inc. as vice president and associate general counsel, focusing on regulatory affairs and based in the company's Washington, D.C. office. He most recently was a senior partner in the energy group of Hogan and Hartson, a law practice that specializes in electric industry regulatory and restructuring issues.

William Peeples has been named vice president for new business and marketing by Atlanta Gas Light Co. with responsibility for retaining existing customers, attracting new customers, and providing service through programs such as appliance repair. He will oversee sales for Atlanta Gas Light and affiliates Chattanooga Gas Co. and Virginia Gas Co.

Suzanne Sitherwood has been named vice president for engineering and construction by Atlanta Gas Light Co. A 20-year veteran with the company and most recently its chief engineer, she will have responsibility for new business construction, pipeline replacement, regulatory compliance and Department of Transportation accountability issues.

Thomas R. Smith, executive vice president and chief operating officer of the PSEG Global subsidiary of Public Service Enterprise Group Inc., has been named executive vice president for operations and development of PSEG Power and president of its PSEG Fossil subsidiary.

Jeffrey R. Webb has joined the Midwest Independent System Operator as director of planning. He moves to the Midwest ISO from Commonwealth Edison Co. of Chicago, where he was manager of transmission planning.
