Public Service Company of Oklahoma Completes Acquisition of Green Country Power Plant

Alliant Energy Submits Plans to Iowa Utilities Commission for the Addition of 1,000 MW of Wind Capacity

LCG, July 2, 2025--Alliant Energy today announced plans to add up to 1,000 MW of wind energy generating capacity in Iowa to meet demand and ensure reliable, affordable energy for its customers. The plans are included in a filing with the Iowa Utilities Commission (IUC), and the company anticipates a decision from the IUC in the first quarter of 2026.

Mark Frevert has been promoted to vice chairman of Enron Corp. He most recently had been chairman and chief executive of Enron Wholesale Services.

Peter B. Smith has joined El Paso Merchant Energy North America as seniormanaging director. He moves to the El Paso Corp. unit after 10 years with HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc.

James K. Vizanko has been named chief financial officer of Allete Inc. A 24-year veteran of the company, he has served as corporate treasurer since 1993.

Greg Whalley has been named president and chief operating officer of Enron Corp. He was most recently president and chief operating officer of Enron Wholesale Services.
