LCG, January 21, 2026--Sage Geosystems, the company pioneering Pressure Geothermal, today announced that it closed over $97 million in Series B funding to advance its geothermal power generation and energy storage solutions, including its first commercial next-generation geothermal power generation facility. Gas Pipeline Expected in Mid-Altantic
LCG, July 9, 2002--A natural gas pipeline that could begin operation in mid-2005 is planned in West Virginia and North Carolina by Dominion Resources Inc. and Piedmont Natural Gas Co.The $497 million Greenbrier pipeline is currently undergoing review by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and has been in pre-filing since November. The capacity of the pipeline would be 580 million cubic feet of natural gas, linking Kanawha County, W. Va. with Granville County, N.C. over a distance of 280 miles.According to a press release, the pipeline would allow gas to flow to the Mid-Atlantic and southeast from Canada, Appalachia and the Mid-Continent region, and connect the Greenbrier area with the Gulf of Mexico and Gulf Coast.
