El Paso Energy Partners, L.P. Becomes GulfTerra
LCG, May 1, 2003El Paso Energy Partners, L.P has decided to change its name and stock ticker.El Paso Energy Partners was the third-largest master limited partnership in the country at the end of last year and is changing its name in an effort to distinguish itself from the El Paso Corporation, the large pipeline company which is an indirect partner. The name GulfTerra is intended to relate to the size and scope of the partnerships midstream operations, according to CEO Robert Phillips.GulfTerras New York Stock Exchange Symbol will be GTM.
