LCG, October 6, 2026--Google and Constellation Energy today announced a long-term strategic clean energy collaboration to bring 890 MW of new, reliable, carbon-free nuclear capacity onto the PJM Interconnection grid to meet growing demand and increase grid reliability. The first uprate is expected to be delivered by 2028.

LCG, October 5, 2026--The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Energy Dominance Financing (EDF) today announced a conditional loan commitment of up to $4.2 billion to finance nuclear uprates and modernization across Vistra’s nuclear fleet in Pennsylvania and Ohio. The projects are expected to preserve nearly 4 GW of carbon-free, baseload power and add 433 MW of new nuclear capacity that will support the growing electricity demand across the PJM region.

EPCOR Expands Wind Farm Potential in Ontario
LCG, April 22, 2005--EPCOR has reached an agreement to acquire Port Albert Wind Farms, Ltd. (PAWF), including the development and interconnection rights for more than 270 MW of electric generation derived from the wind along the western shores of Lake Huron.In Ontario, EPCOR is already constructing the Kingsbridge Wind Power Project that is scheduled to commence operations in late 2005 or early 2006. The 39.6-MW project, located near Goderich, is adjacent to most of the development rights acquired from PAWF.The Kingsbridge Wind Power Project was selected last November by the Ontario Ministry of Energy following the release of the Ontario government's Request for Proposals (RFP) for renewable energy supplies earlier last year. New energy supplies are critical to the Province of Ontario, which has already committed to closing 7,600 MW of coal-fired generating capacity - including the 1,140-MW Lakeview Generating Station this month - by 2008 in order to improve air quality.
