ExxonMobil Receives Approval from FERC for Vista del Sol LNG Terminal

LCG, June 17, 2005--The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) authorized on June 15 the construction of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal and related pipeline facilities proposed by ExxonMobil Corporation's affiliates, Vista del Sol LNG Terminal LP and Vista del Sol Pipeline LP. The proposed terminal will be located along the Gulf of Mexico near Corpus Christi, Texas in San Patricio County.

The proposed terminal will be able to receive approximately 1.1 Bcf/day of LNG. After the natural gas is vaporized, a proposed 36-inch diameter pipeline, with a capacity of 1.4 Bcf/day, will deliver the gas to existing pipelines for transportation throughout the North American gas network. The LNG supplies received from outside North America will supplement domestic gas supplies.

The project is scheduled to be completed and operational in 2008.
