LCG, October 6, 2026--Google and Constellation Energy today announced a long-term strategic clean energy collaboration to bring 890 MW of new, reliable, carbon-free nuclear capacity onto the PJM Interconnection grid to meet growing demand and increase grid reliability. LCG, October 5, 2026--The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Energy Dominance Financing (EDF) today announced a conditional loan commitment of up to $4.2 billion to finance nuclear uprates and modernization across Vistra’s nuclear fleet in Pennsylvania and Ohio. The projects are expected to preserve nearly 4 GW of carbon-free, baseload power and add 433 MW of new nuclear capacity that will support the growing electricity demand across the PJM region.

ExxonMobil Receives Approval from FERC for Vista del Sol LNG Terminal
LCG, June 17, 2005--The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) authorized on June 15 the construction of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal and related pipeline facilities proposed by ExxonMobil Corporation's affiliates, Vista del Sol LNG Terminal LP and Vista del Sol Pipeline LP. The proposed terminal will be located along the Gulf of Mexico near Corpus Christi, Texas in San Patricio County.The proposed terminal will be able to receive approximately 1.1 Bcf/day of LNG. After the natural gas is vaporized, a proposed 36-inch diameter pipeline, with a capacity of 1.4 Bcf/day, will deliver the gas to existing pipelines for transportation throughout the North American gas network. The LNG supplies received from outside North America will supplement domestic gas supplies.The project is scheduled to be completed and operational in 2008.
