LCG, January 15, 2026--Origis Energy today announced that Meta and the company signed a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) for the 240-MW (303-MWdc) Greyhound A Solar project in West Odessa, Texas. The Greyhound A Solar project is scheduled to achieve commercial operations by mid-2026.

LCG, January 13, 2026--Oglethorpe Power today announced it has selected Kiewit Corporation through its subsidiary, The Industrial Company (TIC), as the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) partner for its new combined-cycle (CC), natural gas-fired power plant in Monroe County, Georgia. The new, 1,425-MW facility represents a capital investment of more than $3 billion. Commercial operation of the new generation capacity is planned to commence in 2029.

UPC Wind Files Application for Cascade Wind Project
LCG, April 13, 2007--UPC Wind yesterday announced that it has filed its site certification application with the Oregon Energy and Facility Siting Council (EFSC) to build the proposed Cascade Wind Project. UPC Wind expects the project to achieve commercial operations in 2008.
The Cascade Wind Project is located near The Dalles in Wasco County, Oregon. The project includes 40 GE wind turbines with a total design capacity of 60 MW.
The EFSC Site Certification is binding for state and local agencies whose permits are evaluated during the review process. UPC Wind anticipates receiving the EFSC Site Certification early next year.
